Michigan legalized medical use in 2008 with the passage of the Michigan Compassionate Care Initiative. Recreational consumption / weed was legalized for adults 21+ in 2018, + sales began in 2019. Michigan's Cannabis Regulatory Agency oversees both the medical + recreational cannabis programs in the state, + each municipality is allowed to restrict the sale of adult-use. In MI, you can consume on private property as long as you have permission from the property owner. Outdoor, public, + vehicle consumption are not allowed.

You can order weed online in Michigan for delivery, but delivery is not allowed in all areas. The state allows municipalities to set their own ordinances regarding delivery, + several cities do have restrictions in place for  both recreational + medical delivery. A few areas allow cannabis delivery including Detroit, Ann Arbor, Warren, + Grand Rapids. Keep in mind, you must be at least 21 years old with a valid, government-issued I.D to order cannabis delivery on Lantern.

You can schedule a delivery up to 24 hours in advance. Hours of operation may vary by dispensary but typically range from 11 am–9 pm daily, with the option to schedule same-day and next-day delivery if you're ordering outside of live delivery hours.

The purchase limits for delivery in Michigan are the same as in-store. You can buy two-and-a-half ounces of flower, fifteen grams of concentrate or up to 16 ounces of edibles, per day.

Per state and city regulations, only residential deliveries are allowed; deliveries to dorms, hotels, and/or subsidized housing is not permitted.
