Ghost Train Haze Strain Information

Ghost Train Haze is a sativa-dominant hybrid, and is also an annual winner of High Times’ “Strongest Strains on Earth,” which is sort of the lifetime achievement award for cannabis.

At around 25% THC, Ghost Train Haze is a potent strain, making it of great medicinal value. It has long been considered a popular choice by cancer sufferers for both alleviating pain and increasing appetite.

As with most strains in the Haze family, Ghost Train Haze will get you up and engaged in conversations. Insightful, it allows you to take a step back and catch a glimpse of the future, something very difficult to overcome for those suffering from depression and hopelessness. These properties also provide relief and optimism to those battling PTSD. Predominantly sativa, as are the majority of Hazes, you should probably avoid this strain if you suffer from anxiety.

The fragrance of Ghost Train Haze is most often described as zesty on the inhale, followed by earthy, spicy flavors on the exhale. Its buds are bright green with very light orange pistils throughout, and its high THC percentage is confirmed visually by trichomes so thick they glisten like tiny diamonds along the entire surface.

A great day strain, Ghost Train Haze is perfect for focus, energy, and a positive shift in outlook. It’s showing up on an increasing number of dispensary menus, so chances are you won’t have to look far for the “Strongest Strain on Earth.”

FUN FACTS
Ghost Train Haze took both the High Times Cannabis Cup first place award for “Best Sativa” in 2014, as well as the second-place position for “Medical Sativa” in 2013. Even its parent, Neville's Haze, is a champion, taking first place in the "Seeds" division of the 1998 High Times Cannabis Cup. One could say Ghost Train Haze was born into greatness.
